Excursions
Excursions are one of the most exciting and rewarding parts of our programs as they are designed to be a means for students to discover the country from a leisurely and well-organized perspective. Students will be taken on multiple day excursions during the course of their program. An example of day excursions are going to Siena and Umbria.

Room Board
Students can choose to live with a host family or in a student apartment. Host family includes two meals a day (breakfast and dinner), seven days a week for the official period of the program.

Tuition and Fees
The Istituto Europeo in Florence, Italy is one of the best institutions for Italian instruction in the country. All teachers are university professors accredited by the Italian Ministry of Education. Their long-standing experience teaching the Italian language to international students is highly appreciated by participants.

On-site staff
Our onsite staff will help students with onsite orientation to begin with and then they will assist and help students throughout their time in Florence. The staff is there to help students enjoy the experience of a lifetime. The staff is friendly and easy to work with. They are always available to lend insight and know how.

Transportation
Ground transportation is provided from the airport for students who fly into Florence. EUS provides ground transportation on all organized excursions.

Medical Insurance
Medical insurance is provided for the official period of the program. Medical insurance extensions can also be provided for an additional fee.

Mobile Phone
We believe that it is important that your family and friends be able to reach you when they need to. Each EUS student will be issued a cellular phone and phone number a few days before they depart for France. Incoming calls are not charged. Students are responsible for paying charges related to their outgoing phone calls.

Orientation Handbook
A month or two before departure you will receive our pre-departure book that tells you everything from what to pack, to what things cost, to a guide to speaking Italian.

OPTIONAL

ROUND-TRIP AIR TRANSPORTATION: Discounted rates are available from most major cities.

EXTRA TRAVELERS INSURANCE: $40.00 per month for students under the age of 26. If you are over 26 and would like to purchase extra insurance, please inquire at the EUS office.
