"This was really an amazing program. It really shocks
me that it has only been around for a few years. It really strives for
what is important in studying abroad.
I would choose to stay with the same host family if I was to do this again.
They were absolutely amazing….I loved them." |

Grenoble is a great city! All the cafes, restaurants,
bars, parks, and museums make the city what it is.
I loved it there! From where I lived I could walk to centre ville and
go to a little café or just walk around the city. There are mountains
surrounding the city, and they’re beautiful both in the winter and
the summer.
With the EUS program You basically get the same thing
as if you were with one of the other programs but at half the cost.

I was well-informed before I arrived so I did not have any problems. Alexis
always told us about where we could find anything whether it was food,
clothes or technical assistance.
The onsite staff always and always helped fix whatever problems that came
up. You could call Alexis with any problem and he would do whatever he
could to address it immediately. He was friendly and always available.
He was just very amicable and that contributed a lot to how comfortable
we felt in a foreign environment.
Speaking French with native speakers and thinking in French. Helped a
lot in improving.
The program met my expectations way beyond expectations.
The program is headed by caring and organized individuals who put the
students first. That is key to making the students comfortable and enjoy
the program.

"Grenoble was the perfect city to give me a taste of French life.
It was not so big that I felt dazed and confused, but big enough that
I was never bored. And living in the Alps is unforgettable."

Excursions were well organised. Very impressive, I’m glad I got
to see more of the country. I was very satisfied with EUS. If anyone I
know wants to study in France I would definitely tell them to consider
EUS.

I was very satisfied with the EUS staff. Excursions were well organised
and well thought out. They were wonderful. I had done things and seen
places I had always wanted to.
The natives were the nicest in Grenoble, even nicer than some Americans
I know. A lot would go out of the way to help. |

"Grenoble is an amazing place to study. Fun night life, and tons
of students to meet. The surrounding mountains are breathtaking and always
there for you when you need a break from the city--the opportunities for
adventure are endless."

My favourite aspect of the program was the housing. Getting to be a part
of the family in the every day dealings. I.E. – helping around the
house, hanging out with the kids and parents, meals with the family, etc.

"Being that it has such a large student population, Grenoble is an
excellent place to study. It is really easy to meet students from all
over the world. It is also surrounded by beautiful scenery and has a very
alpine feel."

My French host home was perfect for students to
live in because it’s in the city, right on the tramline, and the
family is great and understanding about student life.
The program met my expectations.
I love Grenoble. It is, by far, the best French city I have ever stayed
in.
I had a great time! I am actually considering coming back to do the program
again another time in the future. Alexis was very helpful, friendly, and
understanding, which was great.

What was your favourite aspect of this accommodation? I enjoyed being
able to learn from my family. My French mother was extremely nice and
would help me with my homework
I really liked my professor; he was humorous but also demanding our best,
which lead to a greater improvement. I also feel that I have become very
independent and more willing to experience the unknown.
I would definitely recommend EU StudyAbroad to others. Alexis has such
dedication to the program and it shows.
Thank you for a great experience!!!!

" What more could a study abroad student want ... a virtual free
reign on choice of courses and mountains to ski down or paraglide off
in every moment of free time! Grenoble is a good place to be!"

"My year in Grenoble was excellent! The city is so beautiful, and
the people are very friendly. It is a real student city and has a really
fun atmosphere. Grenoble is also in a great location if you want to do
any other travelling in France or Europe..."
