Credit Transfer

Transcripts
The University of Grenoble is an official French university with full recognition and accreditation from the United States Department of Education. Under these terms of recognition, American students attending the University of Grenoble will be issued official transcripts illustrating all courses students have taken as well as class hours and grades.

Credit Transfer
The duration of courses is typically four hours each day, five days per week. The decision of how many credits to award the student depends upon the judgment of each student's academic institution. Typically, when translating credits, colleges and universities in the United States award one credit for each week of classes. This means that four weeks of classes would result in four credits. A semester program would likewise yield around twelve to sixteen credits while a summer program would give the student four credits for one month and eight credits for two months. EU StudyAbroad will provide an official translated transcript to the students. An official University of Grenoble transcript will also be available upon request.
